So said Winston Churchill. And after watching the short documentary How Obama Got Elected, it's hard to disagree.

An interesting use of video cameras and the internet to... excuse the phrase... speak truth to power. Because it wasn't so much a case of shining a spotlight on a bunch of dopes as it was shining a spotlight on the media. On Election Day, Twelve Obama supporters were asked a series of questions from who people like Barney Frank (which explains why the general public isn't demanding he be drawn and quartered the way they were Ken Lay) and Harry Reid were, to who's controlling Congress, to who has a pregnant teenage daughter.

The video is truly hair-raising, and infuriating. These dipsticks were grossly ill informed yet, I'm have little doubt that if you got into a debate with one of them, especially Adarsha, whose conditioned response to the mere mentioning of the name Sarah Palin would have made Pavlov drool, would not doubt think, and I'm sure tell you, that you were the one who didn't know what they were talking about. Oh, and probably racist too.

The one bright spot was Erika who showed genuine surprise and concern over things like Biden's plagiarism and Obama's having all of his opponents tossed off the ballot for his first election win. It was still troubling, however, that knowing that she's not as informed as she thought, she was still okay with voting for Obama.

But since you can't really call the interviewing of a dozen or so Obama voters scientific, they hired the pollsters at Zogby to conduct a phone poll. The results:

512 Obama Voters 11/13/08-11/15/08 MOE +/- 4.4 points

97.1% High School Graduate or higher, 55% College Graduates

Results to 12 simple Multiple Choice Questions

57.4% could NOT correctly say which party controls congress (50/50 shot just by guessing)

71.8% could NOT correctly say Joe Biden quit a previous campaign because of plagiarism (25% chance by guessing)

82.6% could NOT correctly say that Barack Obama won his first election by getting opponents kicked off the ballot (25% chance by guessing)

88.4% could NOT correctly say that Obama said his policies would likely bankrupt the coal industry and make energy rates skyrocket (25% chance by guessing)

56.1% could NOT correctly say Obama started his political career at the home of two former members of the Weather Underground (25% chance by guessing).

And yet.....

Only 13.7% failed to identify Sarah Palin as the person on which their party spent $150,000 in clothes

Only 6.2% failed to identify Palin as the one with a pregnant teenage daughter

And 86.9 % thought that Palin said that she could see Russia from her "house," even though that was Tina Fey who said that!!

Only 2.4% got at least 11 correct.

Only .5% got all of them correct. (And we "gave" one answer that was technically not Palin, but actually Tina Fey)

The point being that the media and their endless fawning over and protection of The One, as well as their ceaseless hammering of ~~his~~ His opponents, namely Gov. Palin, had a major role in this year's election. A big "No kidding", but still, an interesting, and troubling, survey to say the least.

Soul honored at Philadelphia Sports Fans Choice Awards

PHILADELPHIA -- The World Champion Philadelphia Soul were honored at the 7th Annual Philadelphia Sports Fans Choice Awards with an Outstanding Team Achievement Award on Monday night at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown in Center City Philadelphia. On hand to accept the award will be head coach Bret Munsey and 2008 Soul players OL Phil Bogle, C Mike Mabry, DB Rob Keefe, FB/LB Clifton Smith and WR/DB Mike Brown.

The Philadelphia Sports Fans Choice Awards are voted on by fans in the Philadelphia area. Coca Cola and Wawa stores promoted balloting and to date over 196,000 ballots were received. At last year’s event, Munsey was honored with the Commitment to Excellence Award for his outstanding efforts behind the bench.

Good for them. The cool thing, aside from the team getting recognition, but they're getting recognition from Philly sports fans. Philly sports fans have something of a... reputation shall we say. They're more than happy to tell you they think you suck. Now, if the Philly sports writers can stop looking down their noses...

Something that wasn't mentioned was that Mike Brown was also given the Hometown Hero Award for his committment to community service in the Philadelphia area. Mike's a talented athlete with a great attitude. Just don't ask Cleveland's Jason Ball what he thinks. If you had this happen to you...

So I'm watching Fox & Friends this morning and caught today's "Pundit Pit". Gretchen Carlson is doing the introductions of the four women making up today's Pit and I about did a spit take with my morning Mt. Dew when she introduced S.E. Cupp. Now, it may have been a bit of the morning fuzzies or Gretchen's Minnesota accent or something, but I swear she was calling the woman "C Cup". And my eeeevil y-chrome mind couldn't help say "that'd be my guess". Yes, yes. I know. Hi, my name is Ohms and I'll be your pig this evening. Whatever. Anyhoo... I came across her blog, really nice stuff. Gotta add "Why You're Wrong About the Right" to the increasing queue. Darn you Ayn Rand! Why'd you have to make "Atlas Shrugged" so bloody long.

The world has never seen such freezing heat

A surreal scientific blunder last week raised a huge question mark about the temperature records that underpin the worldwide alarm over global warming. On Monday, Nasa's Goddard Institute for Space Studies (GISS), which is run by Al Gore's chief scientific ally, Dr James Hansen, and is one of four bodies responsible for monitoring global temperatures, announced that last month was the hottest October on record.

This was startling. Across the world there were reports of unseasonal snow and plummeting temperatures last month, from the American Great Plains to China, and from the Alps to New Zealand. China's official news agency reported that Tibet had suffered its "worst snowstorm ever". In the US, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration registered 63 local snowfall records and 115 lowest-ever temperatures for the month, and ranked it as only the 70th-warmest October in 114 years.

Global warming is about one thing and one thing only... control. I'm all for conservation and lessening my environmental impact. I am not, however, willing to slit my own throat. The environmental movement has been hijacked by "watermellons", those that are green on the outside, but red on the inside. Just as those like Bill Ayers have shifted tactics from setting bombs to turning our academic institutions into indoctrination centers to further his agenda, these communists have latched on to the environmental movement to further theirs.

Could You Fill Out This Job Application?

The seven-page, 63-question intrusive and extensive list of queries, first obtained by the New York Times and confirmed as legitimate by the Obama Transition Team, offers a revealing glimpse into both the Obama team's determination not to repeat the mistakes of its predecessors (Any nanny issues? Any discriminatory club memberships?) as well as the new era on which Obama will lead ("Please provide the URL address of any Web sites that feature you in either a personal or professional capacity, e.g. Facebook, My Space, etc.").

Does it really matter if they "repeat the mistakes of its predecessors"? America has just elected a person, to the highest office in the free world mind you, that not only can't get a security clearance based on his associations, but couldn't work for his own administration. And since when is it important what associations one has, for example? I thought those sorts of things didn't matter.

Does it matter if someone stands guard of the chicken coop making sure the foxes don't get in if that someone standing guard is, himself, a fox? Especially when the farmer is so willingly capable of swallowing the fox's slick speeches about how he's not a fox and to even suggest such a thing is speciesist and is so hung up on human guilt that he'd never entertain making such an accusation, no matter what his eyes and his gut tell him, in the first place.

Loved the bit about Freddie and Fannie. Pretty much excludes every Democrat currently drawing breath. Yeah, I know. I know. I keep forgetting the twin mottoes of "Do As I Say, Not As I Do" and "Okay For Me, But Not For Thee" on the Democrat Party's official seal.

Liberal Censorship and Its Roots

I believe this arrogant attitude can largely be traced to the top-down indoctrination in our schools, cultural institutions and media that liberalism is morally superior because it is tolerant, diverse, intellectual and enlightened. This view holds that conservative expression doesn't deserve constitutional protection because it is inherently evil. As one liberal academic administrator said in justifying his Draconian action in suppressing a Christian viewpoint, "We cannot tolerate the intolerable."

If the sanctimonious "52ers" actually meant something with all their koombyah crap, they'd be fighting against this type of thing. But I'm not exactly holding my breath.

Soulmate Website Launched

PHILADELPHIA (Friday, November 14, 2008) – In preparation for the start of their sixth season, the Philadelphia Soul are launching a new website dedicated exclusively to their dance team, the Philadelphia Soulmates.

Took long enough. Back before Philly had a team, a buddy of mine from Grand Rapids used to go on and on about the AFL. Like a lot of people, the only thing I'd ever heard about the AFL was that Kurt Warner had come from the Iowa Barnstormers to lead the St. Louis Rams to victory in Super Bowl XXXIV. But I figured I'd give it a shot. The team I latched onto was the Buffalo Destroyers. It wasn't because I had love for western NY or anything, it was... well, because their dance team/cheerleaders, the Bombshells, had their own website instead of a page on the team's website. After a couple seasons, the Destroyers moved but Philly got the Soul, so I didn't really care. Good to see the Soulmates getting a bit more of the spotlight.

Soulmates Pre-audition Workshop

Last Saturday the Philadelphia Soulmates held a pre-audition workshop for their upcoming auditions. Over thirty young ladies from around the Delaware Valley turned out to learn a routine, get advice on hair, make-up, fitness, nutrition, see a mock audition and have their questions answered by Soulmates Director Marla Viturello and the current Soulmates.

Bucking Soul tradition, it appears as though the Soulmate voted onto the most recent Aaron's Dream Team will be returning next season. For the last few seasons, the Soulmate who makes the Dream Team shares two qualities; they were co-captains and they didn't return. The Aaron's Dream Team was like a blackhole of hotness. Cheerleaders go in, but they don't come out. I know at least a couple fans who'll be glad to see Kat back. Me, I was glad to see Becky and Stepanie in the workshop gallery.

Planning under way for Obama holiday

Plans are being made to promote a national holiday for Barack Obama, who will become the nation's 44th president when he takes the oath of office Jan. 20.

"Yes We Can" planning rallies will be at 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. every Tuesday at the downtown McDonald's restaurant, 1100 Kansas Ave., until Jan. 13. The goals are to secure a national holiday in Obama's honor, to organize celebrations around his inauguration and to celebrate the 200th birthday of President Abraham Lincoln, who was born on Feb. 12 1809.

At 7:30 a.m. on Inauguration Day, Obama Cake will be served at the downtown McDonald's, and a celebration is scheduled for 8 p.m. to midnight Jan. 20 at the Ramada Hotel and Convention Center, 420 S.E. 6th.

Lieberman in talks about caucusing with Senate GOP

Lieberman's affiliation with Democrats is up in the air. Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada, angered by Lieberman's support of Republican John McCain for president, is considering yanking Lieberman's chairmanship of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee as punishment.

Not surprised by this move any more than I'm surprised that the vindictive Democrats are coming after Sen. Lieberman. The thing I find... well... I can't really say troubling... I guess. I mean, it's not a surprise that they're doing this. It's the whole call for bipartisanship thing the President- and Vice President-elect have been going on about. Which, again, I know is an utter load of bullcrap in a way reminiscent of the Martians from Mars Attacks saying "We come in peace!" over and over as they death-rayed the batsnot out of the human populace. By "bipartisanship" they mean, don't fight. Sit down, shut up, and let us rule. But still, it would go a long way if President-elect stepped up for Sen. Lieberman.

Yeah... yeah... not holding my breath. I mean, he didn't step up to defend Gov. Palin from some of the most viscous attacks ever heaped upon another human being during the campaign. Or condemn the illegal invasions of privacy Joe the Plumber went through. So I don't really expect him to be man enough to come to Sen. Lieberman's aid.

Wright's comments were a stumbling block for Obama's campaign. In an impassioned speech about faith and race, the Democrat at first expressed support for Wright, saying that "I can no more disown him than I can my white grandmother."

Ironic, since he threw both Rev. Wright and his grandmother under the bus for political expedience. Note that nowhere in the woe-is-me article was it mentioned, by neither Wright or the writer, that Sen. McCain, foolishly in my opinion, took the preacher off the table as an issue to be discussed.

Lieberman's Future Undecided After Meeting With Reid

The American people just elected their first black President. I'd say Hazzah! if, you know, people still said Hazzah! Well, that and if I thought, personally, it was a big deal. I don't. I'm a child of the 60s. In that I mean I was born in the late-60s. The struggle, the call, for equality has always been a part of my life. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his speeches weren't new for me, they were a part of historic record. Things to think about and find the wisdom in them. Good news, it worked. As a result, I treat people; men or women, black or white, gay or straight, rich or poor, pug ugly or smoking hot... et cetera the same. I treat them like people. Which, as odd as it sounds, tends to totally mess with people's minds for some reason. It's funny how folks who don't want to be thought of as stereotypes get flummoxed when you don't act like a stereotype.

The long and short of it is that I want the person I feel is best suited for the job to have the job irrespective of their skin tone or their plumbing and would feel the same way if the news was the American people had just elected their first female Vice President. I'd vote for a one-legged Asian transsexual if I thought ~~she~~ he she could do the job. Personally, I don't believe that President-elect Obama is the right person for the job.

I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it. I mean, the guy's been steeped in Marxism his entire life and without a "come to Jesus moment" akin to a Klansman seeing the light and going to work for the Southern Poverty Law Center to point to, I'm not buying the claims that he has, and will govern from, a centrist viewpoint. Not that I thought Sen. McCain was all that spiffy, because he's not. And with his loss, perhaps the Republicans will knock it off with the RINO progressive-lite stuff already. Who knows?

But if folks want to make a big deal out of this "historic event", go nuts baby. On that front I say, "Way to go America. Now go get a real job there Rev. Sharpton." Well, that and up yours Europe. Ya buncha racists.

URGENT: Speechwriter for Obama Quits, Voting McCain.

The final straw came the other week when Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher (a.k.a Joe the Plumber) asked a question about higher taxes for small businesses. Instead of celebrating his aspirations, they were mocked.

This is something I've found exceedingly troubling about this election and quite honestly, I don't understand how anyone--of any party--who is intellectually honest can't be troubled by what has happened to "Joe the Plumber". How it is even remotely acceptable to have a citizen who merely asked a question of someone wishing to be elected into the highest office in the land (let alone any elected office) be run through the wringer is beyond me. It's not as if Mr. Wurzelbacher went to an Obama rally. It came to him. It's not as if he asked something outlandish like "Are you a Muslim?" or shout out something racist.

Heck, it's not even the question but Sen. Obama's reply that's done all the damage. Yet zealots took it upon themselves to dig up any dirt they could find to "kill the messenger" as it were... and the guy wasn't even a messenger for crap's sake. And to add insult to injury, Senators Obama and Biden, while simultaneously whining about Team McCain "going negative" by, you know, bringing up pesky things like the truth about Sen. Obama, proceeded to go negative on Mr. Wurzelbacher.

I'd say it was shameful if I thought either Senator was capable of feeling such a thing.

Ballots from U.S. troops risk being discarded

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- As absentee ballots pour in from U.S. troops overseas, officials are voicing concerns that many of those votes won't be counted.
An absentee ballot from Arlington County in Virginia shows the names of the general election candidates.

"It's dismal," said Rosemary Rodriguez, who works for the U.S. Elections Assistance Commission, a non-partisan group. "These are the voters that are in some cases preserving our liberties and out there with their lives on the line."

As a veteran, strike that, even if I wasn't a veteran I would find this offensive in the extreme. Every election the same thing happens. While the Democrats are hard at work making sure crackheads, convicts, and the dead aren't disenfranchised, they are equally just as hard at work making sure the votes of the men and women putting it on the line to ensure the rest of us enjoy our freedoms get tossed out. Why? Simple really. According to polls taken by the Army Times, the military vote is overwhelmingly in the McCain camp.

Ah, one of the more... unique aspects of hailing from "Slower Lower" has always been Punkin' Chunkin'. To answer the article's title... no way in hell. As much as I hate to admit it. I'm old school when it comes to chunkin'. I prefer the trebuchets most of all, but they simply don't have the range the air cannons do. They're less likely to "make pie", as it's called when you blow your punkin' to smithereens rather than launch it across the field, but they lack the power and range of the air cannons. But who knows. Maybe they held their own. I haven't gone to Punkin' Chunkin' in a few years as it's gotten insanely crowded.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Sen. Barack Obama didn't know his aunt might be living illegally in the United States, as media outlets are reporting, and his campaign will return contributions she made, an aide said Saturday.

Democratic U.S. Rep. John Conyers of Michigan fired off a letter asking Homeland Security Secretary Michael Chertoff to investigate whether someone leaked the information to the media in an effort to damage Obama.

It's far more important to the Republic if we spend time investigating who is revealing damaging details (aka the truth) about The One, than it is to investigate the implications of illegal campaign contributions made possible by Team Obama removing the safegaurds that would prevent such illegal contributions that this story brings to light?

In their decades-long struggle to bring socialism/Marxism/communism to America, they are blind to the fact that the folks who already had it have figured out it doesn't work.

I'll never forget where I was, or what happened, on Sept 11th. I was onsite at a customer's facility, as I usually am. It is a manufacturing facility that is owned by immigrants from South America. As a result a lot of their work force are folks who've recently immigrated, legally, to the US. When we heard about the attack, lots of questions were flying, as they no doubt were everywhere else. A young woman from Chile who recently "raised her hand" to become a citizen asked me, in all shock and seriousness, "Why would someone do this to us?" Not New York, not America, not the folks on the planes or in the WTC or the Pentagon, but us. She couldn't understand why someone, anyone, would hate America so much as to be driven to attack it.

It never fails to amaze me how people who were born and raised here, who never had to live in another country or under a different type of system, turn on their country with such vitriol, such venomous hatred. And many of those that don't are so apathetic, so unappreciative of what we have here in the States. It's the folks who come here legally, folks like Tito, who know what America is and what it's really like living somewhere else. Folks like Tito get it. I'd take the Titos of the world who came over the self-righteous, America-hating schmucks like Bill Ayers, Frank Lloyd Marshall and Jeremiah Wright who were born here any day of the week.

Schumer: Current Situation Requires One-Party Control

Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Chairman Charles Schumer of New York today argued that in the current climate a politically divided government is a bad thing. He was seeking to counter a closing GOP argument that voters should not give Democrats control of the White House, the House and a potentially filibuster-proof majority in the Senate. “They can’t win on domestic policy; they can’t win on foreign policy; they can’t win on sort of trying to tag our candidates; so the latest theme is, ‘Oh, let’s have some balance in government. Let’s have divided government,’ ” Schumer said at a press briefing. “Our view is very simple, and that is Republican senators, Republican incumbents aren’t for checks and balances. They’re for blocking change and backing [President] Bush.”

Judge rules Ohio homeless voters may list park benches as addresses

COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - A federal judge in Ohio has ruled that counties must allow homeless voters to list park benches and other locations that aren't buildings as their addresses.

U.S. District Judge Edmund Sargus also ruled that provisional ballots can't be invalidated because of poll worker errors.

Monday's ruling resolved the final two pieces of a settlement between the Northeast Ohio Coalition for the Homeless and Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner.

The coalition agreed to drop a constitutional challenge to Ohio's voter identification law until after the Nov. 4 election. In return, Brunner and the coalition agreed on procedures to verify provisional ballots across all Ohio counties.

The coalition was concerned that unequal treatment of provisional ballots would disenfranchise some voters.

Is there no depth that Secretary of State Brunner, a Democrat by the way, won't stoop to to hand her State's electoral votes over to The One? If she's not withholding information for the various Boards of Election in Ohio, she's fighting to open the door to fraud by allowing that people who can't be verified, and thus are held to the standard of "one person, one vote", can vote who knows how many times. After all, The One has decreed that his followers should "take the day off" and will have plenty of time to drive these folks around to as many polling places as is possible.

CNN rejected Obama ad; Fox News not asked

From a CNN spokesperson:

We were approached by the Obama campaign and declined their request. We did not want to pre-empt our programming lineup with a 30-minute spot. We rather use our air to continue to cover the campaign, candidates and issues like we always do from all points of view with the best political team on television.

Fox News, sources say, was not approached by the Obama campaign. Sources point out that the ad is already airing on the Fox broadcast network. MSNBC, however, is airing the ad despite it running on its broadcast partner NBC.

Seeing as CNN has, more or less, been running as a 24/7 political infomercial of Sen. Obama this strikes me of trying to appear impartial.

Dean: One-Party Rule Would Rule

“Republicans had a chance to rule. They failed miserably. I think it’s time to give the other party a chance,” Dean said on MSNBC.

Uhm... yeah. I hate to have to point out nasty things like facts and all to Howard "Yee-Arrr!" Dean and all, but the slim majority the Republicans had is nowhere near the same as what appears to be shaping up after Nov 4th. That isn't to say that the Republicans didn't bone things when they were in charge. They did. But to suggest the Democrats, with unchecked power, would be better is ludicrous. But this is Howard Dean.

Aside from the potential filibuster-proof Congress, something the Republicans never had, Mr. Dean is leaving out a key political organ from his equation... the media. Without a check from the other party, the Democrats would have a blank check to do what they want and the only outfit that could hold there feet to the fire is the American people. But without a media exposing what they're up to, and in many cases actively covering for them, we'd be hard pressed to do it effectively. Especially if they resurrect the exceedingly misnamed "Fairness Doctrine" to silence talk radio, the one media outlet they don't control, and continue with this policy of blacklisting news outlets, and individuals, that dare to question them. How long will it take before they turn their thugs onto folks like Drudge and Michelle Malkin?

I can't help but think about that when I read headlines like Obama promises to deliver `unity over division'". The Drudge Report this morning led off with a link to audio of Barack Obama on WBEZ, a Chicago public radio station. And this time, Barack Obama was not eight years old when the bomb went off. Speaking on a call-in radio show in 2001, you can hear Senator Obama say things that should profoundly shock any American — or at least those who have not taken the time to dig deeply enough into this man’s beliefs and affiliations.

I do, however, blame the press for allowing an individual citizen to do the work that they employ standing armies of so-called professionals for. I know they are capable of this kind of investigative journalism: It only took them a day or two to damage Sarah Palin with wild accusations about her baby’s paternity and less time than that to destroy a man who happened to be playing ball when the Messiah decided to roll up looking for a few more votes on the way to the inevitable coronation.

In a local restaurant my server had on a “Obama 08″ tie, again I laughed as he had given away his political preference–just imagine the coincidence.

When the bill came I decided not to tip the server and explained to him that I was exploring the Obama redistribution of wealth concept. He stood there in disbelief while I told him that I was going to redistribute his tip to someone who I deemed more in need–the homeless guy outside. The server angrily stormed from my sight.

I went outside, gave the homeless guy $10 and told him to thank the server inside as I’ve decided he could use the money more. The homeless guy was grateful.

At the end of my rather unscientific redistribution experiment I realized the homeless guy was grateful for the money he did not earn, but the waiter was pretty angry that I gave away the money he did earn even though the actual recipient deserved money more.

I guess redistribution of wealth is an easier thing to swallow in concept than in practical application.

Let's see, on the one side, you have a 72 year old man who had his body broken by torture (the real kind, not the panties-on-the-head kind) in the service of his country. A man that can't even tie his own shoes or comb his own hair. And on the other side, you have a perfectly healthy 47 year old.

Gee, really? You think you can dance better than a virtual cripple who's got two decades on you? What's next? Betting you can pole vault better than Stephen Hawking? Maybe Stephen would have a shot, so long as he had Joe the Gaffe coaching him on.

No need to panic if a bulb breaks. Just follow these strategies from the Environmental Protection Agency...

*screeching brake sound* Come again now? If my incandescent lightbulbs break, I need neither panic nor a list of strategies to deal with the ensuing mess. I can't help but laugh every time I read about these dumbass CFLs and the dumbasses that have foisted them upon us to help "save the Earth". It pretty much encapsulates environmental measures, especially ones the government is involved in, perfectly. There's a problem... supposedly... and to deal with this problem, we're going to implement plans that, more often than not, create a whole new host of problems.

I'm all for new technology and reducing my consumption. I've been doing things like turning off the lights of rooms I'm not in and keeping the temperate at a moderate level. I can't wait for LED bulbs and would love to have reliable, and affordable, alternative energy generation for my house. But I don't appreciate wingnuts and government types mandating half-thought-out ideas that, in the end, just make a dog's breakfast out of everything. Now we have to use bulbs that require a HAZMAT team to deal with should they break and while I'm sure there are folks who are putting these puppies in the recycling, I have not doubt most CFLs are going straight into the trash where they can merrily leach their mercury into the Earth. Brilliant!

One of the very few tv shows I make any sort of effort to catch has, over the years, been NCIS. I like the story lines and the characters. One of my faves being Abby Sciutto, played by Paulie Perrette. What I didn't know, and helps add to her Abby character in my opinion, is that Ms. Perrette used to front an all-girl rock band called Lo-Ball. Yes, that's her singing the song in the above posted video. Pretty kickass tune, and the person who made the video really did a great job. Really like the 'dun-dun' video jumps.

Woman Attacked At ATM, Assailant Carves Letter Into Her Face

Richard said the robber took $60 from the woman, then became angry when he saw a McCain bumper sticker on the victim's car. The attacker then punched and kicked the victim, before using the knife to scratch the letter "B" into her face, Richard said.

I guess he couldn't wait any longer for The One to ~~steal~~ redistribute Ms. Richard's money for him.

UPDATE: I smell something fishy here. And here's how I got there:

First off, unless this picture from HotAir is backwards, the "B" on her cheek is backwards. As it would be if you did it yourself in the mirror. Secondly, if, as was claimed in the article, that the "B" was put there by an enraged attacker using a knife, it would be a series of cuts, not scratches, and wouldn't be rounded like that. Plus, if the attacker was enraged, it would have been a hell of a lot deeper. If it happened as alleged, that's troubling. No doubt. If my suspicions are right, that too, is troubling. Hopefully the authorities have surveillance footage to back this up.
